  One of the internationally best-recognised white water river in Malaysia is the Padas River in Sabah with its Grade 3 and 4 rapids offering some of the most interesting courses for rafters.

  It is the second longest river in Malaysia, with a length of 560 kilometers from its headwaters in the mountains of southwest Sabah, to its outlet at the Sulu Sea, east of Sandakan.

Itinerary

Day 1 (Lunch / Dinner)

• 9.00am: Assemble at Borneo Nature Tours Office, LDU Registration & short briefing.
• 9.30am: Depart on a 2 ½ hours overland journey on a gravel road to Borneo Rainforest Lodge.
• 12.00pm: Arrive at Borneo Rainforest Lodge. Our exotic "Welcome Drink" will be served while the Front Office Personnel briefs you on the facilities available at the Lodge.
• 12.30pm: LUNCH
• 2.00pm: Introduction to the forest through the "Nature Trail" and proceed to Canopy Walkway.
• 7.00pm: DINNER Briefing & slide presentation.
• 8.30pm: Night drive in an open air vehicle in search of nocturnal animals.

Day 2 (Breakfast / Lunch / Dinner)

• 6.00am: Early morning jungle walk to the Canopy Walkway
• 8.00am: BREAKFAST
• 9.30am: Guided jungle activities : Trek to the Kadazandusun burial trail sitei "Coffin Cliff", proceed up to the "View Point" & descend through the "Jacuzzi Pools".
• 1.00pm: LUNCH at the Lodge
• 3.00pm: Optional tour : Segama Trail/Hornbill Trail
• 7.00pm: DINNER
• 8.30pm: Night Walk

Day 3 (Breakfast / Lunch)

• 7.00am: BREAKFAST
• 9.00am: Guest own leisure or guided morning walk
• 12.00pm: LUNCH at the Lodge
• 1.30pm: Check out. Depart for a 2 ½ hour journey to Lahad Datu.
• 4.00pm: Check in at the Lahad Datu Aiport
